Med-Mizer in Batesville, IN seeks a Technical Support Rep (TSR) to support a variety of business functions to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsible for accepting/processing orders and answering questions about price, availability, order status, and technical support. This position also acts as a liaison between outside sales and customers to ensure good communication and customer relations. Monitors, follows-up, and resolves issues with customers regarding changes in requirements (both customer and company driven), delivery commitments, production status, etc. This position’s hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.

Essential Duties:

Answer incoming sales and technical support/quality via phone, email, and mail.
Answer customer questions and work with outside sales team regarding items, pricing, and inventory.
Help prepare quotes and order entry for customers and sales.
Pre-qualify customer inquiry and disseminate call information to appropriate sales person or department.
Provide technical troubleshooting, technical information, and determine the necessary technical requirements for our internal and external customers interactions. Interactions include but are not limited to complaints and all service-related activities. Some travel may be necessary.
Provide technical expertise to the Service Logistics, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering Teams. Technical expertise includes but not limited to new product development, new product releases, product upgrades, product modification projects, and document reviews.
Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 2 years working directly with end customer and with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively and resolve conflict.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent responsiveness and customer focus, including the ability to prioritize and perform under tight deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and multi-task to manage routine tasks in addition to special projects.
Associates degree or equivalent related experience required.
Minimum of 2 years of Technical Support experience required.
